We at the mbp have a special treat for you. Over the summer, we used trail camera footage to document beaver activity and other wildlife. On the banks of the south platte river, near ovid, colorado, pbt placed a timelapse camera looking at a beaver dam that crosses the main channel of the south platte. Once ubiquitous throughout north america, beavers were nearly wiped out but have since made a comeback and are found near ponds, lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the continent.
